Rub 'n buff giveaway...

Have you used Rub ' Buff?  When the company offered to send me some to try, I was ecstatic. I had used the brown shade but I never knew it came in so many colors.

I was able to used the Antique Gold to bling up my vintage mirror a bit.
It want on so easy, but even though it says you can use your finger, I would wear a glove. I had a bit if a hard tie washing it off and it was a tad stinky.
But it made my mirror gorgeous.

I was able to add more easily when  I thought it should be a bit heavier.

A little goes  along way.
One tube will last you through many projects.

I love the browner shade for antiquing,

And there are at least 4 shades of gold to match any surface.

I was even able to take this antique mirror I recently purchased and cover a ding.

It's like Where's Waldo, can you see where it was?

Rub 'n Buff has generously sent me some extra tubes to send on to you. Leave a comment on this post. Contest is open until  Monday, July 19th 12 PM CST.

Good Luck!

Jen

  17. I'd love to try it, but in case I don't win, can you find this stuff at Michael's, or JoAnns, or is it more of an Ace/True Value, Home Depot/Lowe's kind of thing?

Btw, I cannot see the repair. Maybe it is my glasses (need a new Rx)...or it being earlier than I'd like to be awake this morning...but I just flat can.not. see it. LOL

  60. I would love to try some! I love what you did with the browning technique. I have a gold mirror that I'd love to revamp to match the style of my home. I inherited a few things from my mother when she passed away and I'm trying to incorporate the pieces unto my home. But sadly some of the antique items don't match my home so this would be awesome to be able to add the mirror somehow into our home!! :)
